Rüther builds own production

Groundbreaking of the new building from the Almi Group

The subsidiary company of the Almi Group – Rüther Gewürze GmbH starts the construction of the new production facility in Menden. The site is built according to the latest standards and requirements. Over 60 people were present at the ground-breaking ceremony on March 13th 2024, especially for the managing director Katharina Kullick and the Almi management Alexander Mittermayr and Karl Reingruber was this an important day.

Rüther Gewürze is an energetic company since over 30 years, focused on customized production, adjustment and further processing as well as the development of oleoresins, essential oils and flavors.

Since the founding of the company in 1993 in Dortmund in just a small office the company evolved more and more over the years. This constant growth of the company due to the steady increases of the Customer base and the extenuation of the products has now reached a new section. The new company building will cover an area of 3,000 m², providing abundantly space for production, warehouse, office and laboratory.

The relocation of the company headquarters to Menden not only creates more space for Rüther's production, but also new jobs, and thus also supports the city's economy, which is very supportive of this project.

"For us, the new building at the Menden site represents a forward-looking strategic realignment of our German subsidiaries, which we can consolidate in one location with good connections and infrastructure," says Karl Reingruber, Managing Director of the Almi Group.
